CHURCH OF WHEN THE SHIT HITS THE FAN TO PLAY T-BREAK!
That’s right, CHURCH OF WHEN THE SHIT HITS THE FAN, aka producer ASTHMATIC ASTRONAUT and emcee HARLEQUINADE, have been selected along with 12 other bands to play the T-Break stage at this year’s T-in-the-Park Festival.
We’re incredibly excited about this news here at Black Lantern - we were honoured to release their debut EP, and have seen them rock it at venues across Edinburgh, so we’re really looking forward to seeing the band get their due in front of a big festival crowd.
Personally, they are one of my favourite bands who have been associated with Black Lantern, sounding like what would happen if HP Lovecraft and William Burroughs wrote lyrics for Public Enemy. This is political, surrealist, horrorcore rap, with filthy great wedges of slamming electro-bass behind it.
My recommendation? Catch them NOW before they BLOW UP!
